The winter workshop on quantum gravity is getting under way in Tux. As always, its co-organized by Erlangen. Information and, eventually, slides can be found on the website of the workshop.
In autumn 2019, at least one postdoctoral position in the fields of quantum gravity or theoretical cosmology will be available at the Institute for Quantum Gravity (IQG) (Theoretical Physics III). More information concerning the application process can be found here.
We welcome our new group members Sepideh Bakhoda (PhD student), Zhitao Chen (Master student) and Max Fahn (Master student)! Furthermore, we congratulate Michael Kobler (PhD student) for being awarded a scholarship from the “Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung”.
The biannual conference on Loop Quantum Gravity and background independent approaches to quantum gravity will take place at the University Park campus of Penn State from Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 21, 2019.
