DESCRIPTION:Title:\n\nAsymptotically Safe Gravity and the road to observabl
 es\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAbstract\n\nIn this seminar I will give a pedagogical int
 roduction to a specific continuum implementation of the Wilsonian Renormal
 ization Group\, the Effective Average Action. After having presented its g
 eneral properties and its Functional Renormalization Group Equation in a s
 imple scalar setting\, I apply the approach to Quantum Einstein Gravity. T
 he possibility of constructing a fundamental theory of Quantum Gravity in 
 the framework of Asymptotic Safety is discussed. Finally\, I will highligh
 t some recent developments towards the inclusion of (relational) observabl
 es in asymptotically safe gravity. This might open a new window through wh
 ich we can compare different approaches to Quantum Gravity.
