2025 Blaumann’s Loop Quantum Gravity School in Les Houches,
Earlier in September, Ashay Sathe, Roman Kemper, and Martin Zeiss from the Institute for Quantum Gravity participated in the 2025 Blaumann’s Loop Quantum Gravity School in Les Houches, facing Mont Blanc on the French side. The school gathered young researchers from diverse areas of theoretical physics for two inspiring weeks of lectures and discussions on topics in and around Loop Quantum Gravity, continuing the prestigious tradition of l’Ecole de Physique des Houches founded by Cécile DeWitt-Morette in the early 1950s. Set in the beautiful alpine surroundings of Les Houches, participants attended lectures by leading researchers including Carlo Rovelli, Eugenio Bianchi, Etera Livine, Pietro Donà, Qiaoyin Pan, Alejandro Perez, Ivan Agullo, Beatriz Elizaga Navascués, Sougato Bose, Markus Aspelmeyer, and Francesca Vidotto, covering subjects from spinfoam path integrals to quantum gravity phenomenology.l
